I have to admit, I'd never heard any of The Wombats songs before this song was recommended to me on various music platforms. I started listening, not just to this but to all of their songs, and I found out just how good they are. I would say they're a bit like a slightly nerdy British Phoenix, but they're also pretty unique. I listened to tons of their music, and I've almost been convinced to buy tickets to their next show. I would say I like This Modern Glitch the most, but I'm rambling and I should start the actual review now. The song starts with acoustic guitar replacing the keyboard chords normally introducing Wombats songs from This Modern Glitch and Glitterbug, and lyrics about a very... heated argument. The song's theme, of going into an argument you know you'll lose, is pretty original (as is the song's title) and the li ne "I've clawed my way out of here before/ But I keep on coming back" is an excellent summation  of the whole...

I was recently blessed with the chance to go to a The Sherlocks concert, and even more blessed that Best Behavior was their opening act. Best Behavior is a New York City based Indie Rock band, and the $10 entrance fee was worth it just for their show, not to mention the excellent The Sherlocks set which came after it. So apparently this followup EP to 2015's Good Luck Bad Karma has been in the works since Say was released earlier this year, but I don't think they said it at their show and I never saw it on their channel until long after it was posted. The first song and title track, Things That Happened, launches the EP with a lo-fi whoop(which I am partial too ever since I was exposed to them earlier this year), then continues in a wordy but still relatively graceful verse backed by a driving bass.
