Miracle Man- AWOLNATION Review

The song starts with a basic drumbeat, augmented by a peculiar sound I assume is a percussive audio sample. It starts with a blast, the first breathless chorus and effortless lyrics about being insecure. The guitar is merely an accompaniment, and just complements the impressive rap rock that makes up most of the song. It certainly is more natural than their previous music, but is no less eclectic and isn't so natural it doesn't need electricity. The only time Aaron Bruno takes a break is the bridge, with its synth-assisted guitar grooves straight from the seventies or eighties, but much better than Journey could ever do.
I think this song means that Here Come The Runts should have more good than lukewarm songs, and will hopefully be pretty good. They should release one more single more the early February release of their album, and it will likely also help in that struggle to turn the tide against Seven Sticks Of Dynamite. In the meantime, I'll be contributing to the album sales by buying tickets to their show, which for ten dollars more than they should cost include a CD.
